WordPress 2.4 is scheduled to be released on 24th of January! The changes in this version will be many and most of them on the backend (admin interface). The new interface seems to be much faster and uses much AJAX and caching! I think that its more easy-to-use as long as bloggers get used to it. This demo includes all the core features and aesthetic changes of the new interface! Maybe there will be a beta or release-candidate version of WordPress 2.4 and bloggers could see it in action before 24th of January!

Ontopic: i don’t like the new look. Still no dropdown menu, so you still have to click 2-3 times to get where you want (i have a plugin for that in my admin). And above all: it looks like there are no major changes… So why change it?
Back news that WordPress 2.4 will be skipped and version 2.5 will be released in March! Although the interface changes will take place in 2.5 and that is one reason for canceling the 2.4 release (more time to develop and test the new admin panel).
